My Favorite Seasoning Packet Recipes

 
 
 

Did you know you can make your own seasoning packets with ingredients you have in your pantry? Seasoning packets you buy from the grocery store are packed with fillers. You can make your own seasoning with fresh ingredients and store them in your magnetic spice rack shown on my website. These are the ingredients that are common in most seasoning recipes:

Chili Powder, Dried Oregano, Paprika, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Salt, Pepper, and Cayenne Pepper

With a touch of a few additional ingredients, you have in your pantry you can enjoy the perfect seasoning to any camping recipe! Don’t spend money on packets that have been sitting on a store shelf for months packed with harmful fillers. Check out some of my favorite camping recipes for a healthier option!

Taco Seasoning

  • 1 ½ TBSP Chili Powder

  • ½ tsp Paprika

  • ½ tsp Garlic Powder

  • 1 ½ tsp Cumin

  • ¼ tsp Onion Powder

  • ¼ tsp Dried Oregano

  • ¾ tsp Salt

  • ½ tsp Pepper

  • Pinch of Cayenne Pepper

Fajita Seasoning

  • 1 TBSP Corn Starch

  • 2 tsp Chili Powder

  • ½ tsp Salt

  • 1 tsp Paprika

  • 1 tsp White Sugar

  • ½ tsp Onion Powder 

 Creole Seasoning

  • 6 TBSP Paprika

  • 4 TBSP Garlic Powder

  • 2 TBSP Dried Oregano

  • 2 TBSP Black Pepper

  • 2 TBSP Onion Powder

  • 1 ½ TBSP Sea Salt Flakes

  • 1 TBSP Dried Basil

  • 1 TBSP Dried Thyme

  • ½- 1 TBSP Cayenne Pepper

Ranch Dressing Seasoning

  • 1 tsp Salt

  • 4 tsp Dehydrated Parsley Flakes

  • 2 tsp Garlic Powder

  • 2 tsp Black Pepper

  • 1 tsp Onion Powder

Homemade Ranch Dressing

  • 1 Cup Low Fat Greek Yogurt

  • 1 Cup Low Fat Buttermilk

  • 1 ½ tsp Ranch Dressing Mix

  • Use the salad dressing bottle to mix your ingredients.
